Why is ordering direct from Grillroom Alexandria cheaper?

Delivery platforms charge the restaurant a commission and add a service fee for the customer. Ordering directly through grillroom-alexandria.nl gives 10 percent off the order value with no service fee. The discount is applied automatically.

Why do I have to give my phone number and email address?

The phone number and email address are needed to fulfil the order: the confirmation is sent by email, and the restaurant calls if there is a question about the order or the delivery. Receiving offers by email or SMS is a separate, voluntary tick box, and the order goes through without it.

How can I pay for my order?

You choose at the last step: pay online straight away with iDEAL, or pay cash on receipt to the driver or at the counter. With iDEAL you are taken to your own bank's secure payment page; Grillroom Alexandria never sees your banking details and you are never asked for a PIN.

How long will my order take?

Pickup orders are usually ready in 20 to 30 minutes. Delivery normally takes 30 to 45 minutes, and can reach an hour on Friday and Saturday evenings. A later time can be chosen in advance.

Notes

We need your phone number and email address to fulfil the order: the confirmation goes out by email, and we call you if there is a question about your order or the delivery. We do not use them for anything else, unless you tell us below that you want offers.

Allergy? Do not just put it in the notes, but call +31 10 455 5780. We work in one kitchen handling nuts, gluten, egg, dairy, sesame and celery, and we will tell you honestly what is and is not possible.

Want to hear from us?

Yes, email me. Send me offers and news about the menu, and remind me if I leave an order unfinished. Two emails a month at most, and one click unsubscribes.

Yes, text me. Send me the occasional deal by SMS: a discount on a quiet Tuesday, that sort of thing. Reply STOP and it ends.

Both boxes are voluntary and independent of each other. Your order goes through perfectly well if you leave them empty. We then use your details for this order only. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing or calling us.

Pay and you are done

Last step. Have a look over your order and choose how you want to pay.

Pay online now You go to your own bank's secure payment page and come straight back. Paid is ordered: it goes on the grill right away. Cash on receipt You pay the driver or at the counter. Nothing up front, no details online.

The 10% discount is already off the total. We will never ask for your PIN or your full card details, not on this site and not at the door.
